Got a Doe permit this year so there should be venison in the freezer by Thanksgiving! Good thing, the moosemeat is damn near gone and I expect the Carolina boys to finish it on their Columbus day visit. Got a few chickens left and very little of last year's pig. This years pig died before we had a chance to fatten the little bastid up and kill him, so no more pork till '09. If meat prices continue to rise and I don't get a deer, we'll switch to cat food in November, then when that runs out, we'll grill up our old pal, Kitten.
Lookin' forward to taking my rebel buddies up the lake on the pontoon boat to view the dead leaves and have a few budlites.
